March 30
The Gospel Laborers and the Laborers of Christ will be in concert at Thessalonia Baptist Church in Mineral on Sunday, March 30, at 3 p.m. The public is cordially invited. Sponsor is Deacon Howard Thompson (540) 967-0556 and the pastor is the Rev. James Graves (540) 967-0189.

April 4
A benefit Gospel Jam session will be held Friday, April 4, at 7 p.m. at Harmony Freewill Baptist Church, 225 Spicer’s Mill Road, Orange. Dinner served following the session. Everyone is welcome to bring instruments and sing. For more information call Pastor Paul Kirk at 540-854-8799.

April 9, 23
Stanardsville United Methodist Church’s Bumblebees and Butterflies Play Group for ages 0-4 meet every second and fourth Wednesday of the month at 10 a.m. If you have questions, please call 985-3888 or Julie Nitzsche at 990-8375.

April 12
A Luncheon/Fashion Show Extravaganza sponsored by the Ministers’ Wives/Widows of Wayland Blue Ridge and vicinity will be April 12 at 12-noon at Wayland Blue Ridge Baptist Center, Rixeyville. This is a fundraiser that will benefit scholarships to graduating seniors; donation $25. For tickets or more information call 540-786-8736.

April 13
Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church, Tanners, will charter a bus to Promised Land Baptist Church in D.C. on Sunday, April 13 with a departure time of 11:45 a.m. There will be a charge of $20 for adults and children 11 and up and $12 for children 10 and under. April 18-20
Bethel United Methodist Church, Rochelle, will be holding Spring Revival April 18-20 at 7 p.m. The Rev. Rick Bonfim, United Methodist Evangelist from North Georgia Conference, will be guest speaker. Rev. Bonfim will also speak Sunday, April 20 at the 11 a.m. worship service. Everyone is welcome.

Swift Run Baptist Church is getting children connected to God; parents bring your children to join us for our new and exciting Children’s Church. We will be exploring fun and creative ways to learn God’s word on Sundays at 11 a.m.

Tuesday’s Table, a ministry providing a free meal to anyone in need, whether the need is economic, spiritual, fellowship, or whatever (no questions asked) is held every Tuesday night from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Stanardsville United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall, Court Street (across from the Courthouse) in downtown Stanardsville.  Food provided and prepared by Blue Ridge Presbyterian Church, Mt. Vernon, Stanardsville, Mountain View and Westover United Methodist churches, Spring Hill Baptist Church, Shepherd of the Hills Catholic Church and other service organizations. Limited delivery is available upon request; call 985-3888.
