Fans of C.S. Lewis’ classic novels will want to be in theaters on May 16 for the release of the second Chronicles of Narnia film, Prince Caspian. This sequel to 2005’s The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe finds the four Pevensie children back in the magical land of Narnia-but once there, they find that more than 1,300 years have passed since they reigned as kings and queens. In the meantime, Narnia has been occupied by the Telmarines, who have forced the talking beasts and dwarfs of Narnia into hiding, and the throne has been taken by corrupt King Miraz. The Pevensies must help the rightful ruler of Narnia, Prince Caspian, overthrow his uncle and save Narnia.
If you want to continue the story after seeing the film, there are five more books in the Narnia series; read them before they’re adapted for the big screen.
