Our politicians have made so many promises that if they could fulfill them, we would all be living an abundant life. After the election, we will settle down to reality, and again we will realize that many of these promises were made simply for the purpose of persuading the electorate vote one way or another.
Contrary to man’s promises, “all the promises of God in Him (Christ) are yea, and in Him (Christ) are Amen, unto the glory of God by us,“ II Cor. 1:20. This verse simply means that we can give glory to God for all that He has promised us in Christ, for His promises are true and He will fulfill them.
The key to having God’s promises fulfilled to us is not whether we vote one way or another; rather, the fulfillment rests upon whether or not we have repented of our sins and received Jesus Christ as Lord and personal Savior.
Our election will come and go; and for awhile, we will have a new administration.
Contrary to man’s administration, He who sits upon the throne and possesses all power and all knowledge will fulfill all the promises He has made. Amen.
