FBLA attends Fall Leadership Conference

On October 8, 2008, ten Future Business Leaders of America members and three advisors attended the Fall Leadership Conference at the Sportsplex in Winchester, VA. The conference began with an introduction of the regional FBLA officers and recitation of the FBLA Creed. The guest speaker/performer David DiMuzio was introduced. His message was “How Not to Fail.“ David won the International Jugglers’ Association, World Juggling Championship in 2001. During the performance of juggling and music, attendees learned of David’s accomplishments that formed his career. FBLA members were encouraged to work hard and achieve their dreams. After the keynote speaker, members were divided into groups to participate in leadership activities. After leadership sessions, members reconvened in the main room for dismissal. The conference ended with the recitation the FBLA Pledge.
