Bethel United Methodist Church, Rochelle, will be holding Spring Revival April 18-20 at 7 p.m. The Rev. Rick Bonfim, United Methodist Evangelist from North Georgia Conference, will be the guest speaker. Rev. Bonfim will also speak Sunday, April 20 at the 11 a.m. worship service. Everyone is welcome.
April 19
The Ministers’ Conference of Wayland Blue Ridge Baptist Association and vicinity will present “Rev. Roger Greene and the Renewed” from Elizabeth City, NC, in a gospel concert Saturday, April 19 at 3 p.m. at Antioch Baptist Church in Culpeper.
April 20-25

Not-your-ordinary yard sale will be held at Shepherd of the Hills Church in the social hall from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 26. This huge annual sale offers a wide variety of items; rain or shine (held indoors). Follow the signs from Rt. 33 west - one mile south on Rt. 633 (Amicus Road) to the church. Proceeds benefit the “Caring for the Children” Christmas Gift Project of the Woman’s Club of Greene County.
Blue Run Baptist Church, Barboursville, will celebrate Women’s Day Saturday, April 26 at 4 p.m. with guest speaker, Minister Alice Christmas from Bible Way Church in Louisa. Peggy Brice is pastor.
Ashley Reynolds will be in concert at William Monroe High School, Stanardsville, April 26 from 7 to 9:30 p.m. Admission is $8 with proceeds benefiting the volunteer rescue squad. Purity Jam is a Christian, singer, songwriter, speaker, the recipient of Pop Artist of the Year in 2006 (KCCM), in Times Cover Girl in May 2007 and the 2007 Momentum Award Nominee. Tuesday’s Table, a ministry providing a free meal to anyone in need, whether the need is economic, spiritual, fellowship, or whatever (no questions asked) is held every Tuesday night from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Stanardsville United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall, Court Street (across from the Courthouse) in downtown Stanardsville. Food is provided and prepared by Blue Ridge Presbyterian Church, Mt. Vernon, Stanardsville, Mountain View and Westover United Methodist churches, Spring Hill Baptist Church, Shepherd of the Hills Catholic Church and other service organizations.
